Cuando esta parte del cuerpo\u00a0<b>se lesiona, inflama o en casos m\u00e1s graves, se desgarra<\/b>, se produce un agudo dolor que se intensifica al realizar ciertos movimientos y que se conoce como\u00a0<b>s\u00edndrome de los manguitos rotadores<\/b>.<\/p><p>No hay edad para\u00a0 sufrir este tipo de afecci\u00f3n, desde deportistas j\u00f3venes hasta personas mayores, ya que sus m\u00fasculos y tendones se van desgastando como parte del envejecimiento. En la mayor\u00eda de los casos el origen principal es<b>\u00a0la edad<\/b>, siendo las personas de m\u00e1s de cuarenta a\u00f1os las m\u00e1s propensas a una enfermedad de este tipo.\u00a0<\/p><p>Realizar\u00a0<b>movimientos repetitivos<\/b>\u00a0con los brazos es contraproducente ya que los m\u00fasculos y tendones se van desgastando, es por esto que personas que se dedican a la pintura o la carpinter\u00eda pueden sufrir esta dolencia.<\/p><p>Asimismo, practicar cierto tipo de\u00a0<b>deportes<\/b>\u00a0como el tenis, b\u00e9isbol y baloncesto, aumenta las posibilidades de sentir dolor en el manguito rotador\u00a0<\/p><p>A estas causas frecuentes se le unen otras como una ca\u00edda o dormir todas las noches sobre el mismo
